Security in Croydon
Croydon town centre, the South End restaurant quarter, the box-park venues and Purley.
Croydon carries one of south London's biggest town-centre economies, with a concentrated late-night strip, a restaurant quarter and large event venues in the middle of it. It is busy work and it needs officers who can hold a door without escalating it.
What we do in Croydon
- Weekend door supervision for bars, pubs and clubs in Croydon town centre and around North End
- Cover for restaurants and bars along the South End quarter
- Event security for large venue hires, screenings and ticketed nights
- Retail and shopping-centre security, and static cover for office and commercial premises
Local knowledge that matters
Croydon's night-time economy is managed jointly by the venues, the police and the council, and a venue's door is the first thing looked at after an incident. Our officers work to the licence, log every refusal and ejection with a time and a name, and hand the record over the same night.
